3/18/2024 0 Comments Hitman absolution review angry joeThat’s not to say Absolution isn’t gripping, it’s just not as much of an extremist’s game even on purist, who’s amazing challenge is quite literally chopped up by the new stage-by-stage level system. But this is the whole purpose of playing as a bad ass assassin rather than running for a good portion of the game. This makes the previous game very testing and upsetting at times where difficulty can become an issue. Blood Money offered a grueling campaign as opposed to being able to switch modes at any time. The improved difficulty system allows for being able to play on a tougher or easier setting without having to restart the game. On the other side, limited weapon customization and only a few assassination sequences fall short of the Hitman lore. On one side, Absolution cleans up with great voice acting and stellar graphics, competing with games to come out since. Hitman: Absolution really has a give-and-take relationship with hardcore fans of the series, particularly those who love challenging and tedious assassination missions prom past installments.
